Our dog has epilepsy and has to take 8 tablets a day, 4 in the morning and 4 at night. We’ve tried hiding them in absolutely everything — cheese, peanut butter, marshmallows, bits of chicken, you name it! She always manages to spit the tablets out. I have a 17 year-old Toy Poodle-X who can be extremely fussy when it comes to taking medications. I have tried hiding her tablets in everything from cheese, mincemeat and peanut butter ….. all to no avail. This product has been an absolute godsend! We have a very anxious Chihuahua who needs medication before vet appointments. We've tried everything, hiding her medication in different foods, opening the capsules and mixing the powder into her food, and even dissolving it in water and using a small syringe to administer it directly into her mouth. She would always detect it, refuse to eat it or spit it out, resulting in wasted medication and stressful vet visits.
Last night was our first time using Furee Pet Pill Dough with her, and she took her medication without hesitation! Same again this morning. I take a small piece, flatten it, put the tablet in the middle and roll it closed. It only takes a few seconds and there is much less mess than using butter, cheese or other food.

What types of pills does Furee work with?
Furee is soft and mouldable, so the amount can be adjusted around different tablet and capsule sizes. Always follow the medicine label and your veterinarian's directions. Do not split, crush, or alter medication unless your veterinarian has advised you to do so.
What flavour is the dough?
Chicken flavour, with spray dried cheese and pork liver powder mixed through — the flavour runs through the whole piece, not just the outside.
Can Furee be used in a daily medication routine?
Furee can be incorporated into a daily routine where its ingredients and serving size are suitable for the individual dog and the medication may be given with food. Check the ingredient list and follow your veterinarian's advice, particularly for dogs with medical conditions, prescription diets, or food sensitivities.
How much dough do I use per dose?
We base our serving size on 2g per serve, but all pill and dog sizes are different. The sizing is up to you, based on your needs.
Take a small piece, flatten it slightly, and mould it around the pill. For smaller pets, use only half a portion for easier administration.
My dog always finds the pill — will this work?
The mouldable format lets you close the dough around the tablet rather than relying on a fixed cavity. Dogs respond differently, so no pill-hiding product can be guaranteed for every dog.
